I recently picked up this beauty after seeing the bright pink polish in this post on the Brooklyn Blonde's blog (which is wonderful - definitely have a look if you don't know it already). I actually don't own a bright pink colour among the 60 odd polishes that I have so this purchase was well and truly justified (of course), the picture above is two coats so as you can see the colour pay-off is very good. Also, I didn't realise until I'd actually painted my nails and thought they smelt rather nice that these are scented polishes - this one smells like cranberry's (who'd of thought it?!). This nail polish is sold out online on Boots and Superdrug however I bought this one in my local store so have a hunt if this has taken your fancy!

Weekend Wishlist

Chanel Lipstick: The very heard about Chanel Rouge Coco Shine in Boy - just a classic pink, what isn't there to want about this?!

Moroccan Oil: Again very hyped up and my hair is so dry at the ends due to heat damage and colouring so I would really like to see if this would help the appearance of it!

Essie Cute as a Button Nail Polish: I have the weather to blame for this want. All the hot weather in England over the past few days has just made me want to paint my nails in really bright, pretty colours and this nail polish is definitely that.

Havaiannas: Again I blame the weather for making me realise I own NO classic flip flops - Havaiannas are the way to go...

Love Dress: I saw this on the love website and I'm going to a wedding soon and fingers crossed the weather will be nice! I think this would look really nice with a pair of peep toe flatforms!

Thanks for looking!

L'Oreal Rouge Caresse in Tempting Lilac

Burts Bees Tintes Lipbalm in Hibiscus

Revlon Lip Butter in Peach Parfait

Firstly I'm not a huge lipstick fan, the hassle of having to reapply them throughout the day and needing to use a mirror to avoid looking like a clown does stop me using them as often as I'd like but the alternative I have been loving recently are tinted lip balms and butters. These have suddenly become really popular mostly due to the releases of the Revlon Lip Butters and L'Oreal Rouge Caresse's. These tinted lip products are really moisturising (unlike some lipsticks) and nicely pigmented without needing a mirror to apply them. Although the price of these is comparable to many highstreet and drugstore lipsticks I personally don't mind spending that money as I know I'll get more use out them. I will definitely be investing in some more soon!
(The products mentioned are available in most drugstores or department stores.)

What are your favourite lip products at the moment?

Sunday Wish List

Sunday Wish List by polyvorian16

1. All Saints Beaded Skirt: Obviously this is never going to happen (with the dress being in the hundreds) but I can definitely dream!

2. Zara Plaited Leather Shopper: I can only blame this on blogs...everyone has it and it's so versatile.

3. Diptyque Baies Candle: The smell sounds absolutely gorgeous and I love candles but the slightly hefty price tag (for a candle) is holding me back!

4.Laura Mercier Mineral Powder: I do not own a powder at the moment and I've heard so much about this one, I am very tempted...

5. Rounded Wayfarers: Not the ray ban ones in particular (but if anyone would like to buy me them then please feel free) but some similar. I much prefer this style compared to the traditional wayfarer and I think they suit my face shape better (summer just needs to hurry up!).
