This is a lip colour that I've been loving for quite a while now. After seeing Mac Lip Liner in Spice across Instagram I decided to purchase it a few months ago (as seen in the photo on the right). The matte formula of the liner means it has really good staying power; however, I usually dap a little lip balm on throughout the day to stop my lips looking dry instead of matte. Spice is quite a dark nude/brown in comparison to the lipstick in the photo on the left (Mac Velvet Teddy) but I love wearing Spice day and night.
If you don't feel like going for a darker brown/nude then Velvet Teddy is the perfect choice. After being coined the lipstick of choice for Kylie Jenner everyone went crazy for this colour and for good reason. To me it's the perfect nude that isn't too dark for everyday make-up and isn't pink or coral in any way which I really like as I find a lot of nude lipsticks are. Together the liner and lipstick look great but I think they're even better on their own.
So, if you're a fan of Velvet Teddy I would definitely recommend checking out Spice at your local Mac counter this weekend. The liners are also a couple of pounds cheaper than the lipsticks which makes me feel much less guilty about buying them!
